Breakfast cooking: Eggs, muffins, etc.

Each group will make English muffins, home fries, eggs over easy/med/or hard, pancakes, omelet, blueberry muffins and scones.

Week one: Quick Breads
Day one
  • Make and cook waffles
Day two (Wednesday)
  • Deep Clean
Day three
  • Pancakes
Week two
Day one
  • Blueberry muffin demonstration: creaming butter and sugar; portioning
  • Mix and bake blueberry muffins
Day Two
  • mix and refrigerate scones​
Day three
  • Bake scones
  • Demo omelets
  • Make omelets 
Week three: eggs and English Muffins
Day one
  • mix English muffin starter
  • Read home fries recipe. 
  • Make home fries.
  • Demo Fried eggs o/e, o/m, or o/h and make (one per student)
Day Two
  • Mix English Muffins
Day Three
  • Shape, fry, bake English muffins
